Anthony Fasano Partners with Feed The Children
Events
Miami Dolphins Tight End Anthony Fasano teamed up with international hunger relief organization Feed The Children and Essex County Executive Joseph N. DiVincenzo, Jr. to provide 400 Newark-area families with boxes of food and personal care items on Friday, June 3, 2011. This food distribution was held the day before the 3rd Anthony Fasano Foundation Bocce Bash. This food drop has become an annual tradition as Anthony tries to take advantage of his time back in New Jersey.
United Community Corporation is a Feed The Children partner agency and pre-identified the recipient families. The boxes are designed to help supplement a family for up to one week.
“We are so grateful for Anthony Fasano and UCC,” said Larry Jones, president and co-founder of Feed The Children. “Four hundred families will receive food because of this generous gift of kindness.”
