5th Annual Foundation Golf Classic Recap

On May 7, 2012 the 5th edition of the Anthony Fasano Foundation Golf Classic was held at the Montclair Golf Club in West Orange, NJ. The annual charity event benefiting the REED Academy was another huge success featuring 16 NFL athletes and over 150 golfers. The outing was moved to Montclair Golf Club, a 36 hole course, to accomodate the growing number of attendees.

Following the event, Anthony Fasano released the following statement to attendees:

“I look forward all year to this event, as it’s an opportunity to catch up with so many friends, family and extended family. The Foundation has allowed me to strengthen pre-existing friendships and build new ones. Of all the folks I have met, some of the most impactful have been the families and children of REED Academy.

The parents and faculty of REED work tirelessly to help children with autism reach their fullest potential. For the past five years I’ve worked to raise money and awareness for REED Academy through this golf outing. Each year I’ve asked for the public’s help and your support has been humbling and greatly appreciated. The existence and success of REED is based on the generosity of the community. Together we are making a difference in the quality of life for children and families in our community. Thanks you again for all of your help in support.”
